Reading your comment Sheal... a mother duck brought her 7 tiny ducklings into my house. The first I knew of it was the frantic barking by Abi, my German shepherd dog. She had cornered them in the hall and mum was trying to nudge the babies upstairs. My heart was in my mouth thinking I was about to witness a blood bath, but Abi backed off when I told her to and I was able to rescue them. Not a feather was lost, but I had to get the carpets cleaned because there was duck poop galore!

 

My Jack Russell is being a proper little loud mouth at my new puppy . That is one lucky chick!
