OK so I haven't finished yet....

Question is - since it's going on paving stones (with cracks holding woodlice n slugs) would sand do on the floor? or should I put a thin wooden base plate?

 

I'd put a layer of gravel on the bottom....just an idea
Love the dog btw....is he/she the project manager:D

 

Ahh never thought of that - oh well too late, I found some wood to put on the bottom...

Not sure if the dawg approves...
