      Ooooo....let's hope this Post Office functions better than La Poste! Their behaviour during the previous lockdowns was nothing short of disgraceful! The posties here are an essential lifeline for elderly, isolated people living in the countryside, providing all sorts of extra services and keeping an eye open for folks living on their own, not to mention delivering prescriptions, collecting post and parcels......
      The government, in their wisdom, have decided that from now on, posties will conduct part of the driving licence test :yikes: and if they stop to chat with elderly customers, it's billed at €20 per half hour. Dear God, what a world this is becoming........

            Our postman is still working a six day week. Always cheerful and takes our post to the post office for us. :thumbsup:

            There's only two days of the year he normally doesn't deliver to us. Those are Christmas Day and the day we open our garden. None of the neighbours get a delivery on our Open Day as there's nowhere for the postman to park his van because the road is full of parked cars for a half mile in each direction. :rolleyespink:
