The humble teespoon...

    Anyone use this method of pricking out?.Just scoops perfectly into cell trays.All the roots,soil... You don`t have to touch any part of the seedling.Magic. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Yes Elaine - I always do it that way. Seems to work well. With luck you can scoop up a lump of compost with the roots attached, which has to be a good thing.

    I usually use a pen or knife [​IMG] never bothered buying a dibber...

    A tea spoon will be a lot gentler.

    I use a stick, they do at Ness gardens too when we've been pricking out [​IMG]

    I used a teaspoon today, planted out sunflowers, nasturtiums and pot marigolds that i'd started off in trays - worked a treat!
