Good afternoon I thought as we have a thread about Moaning" I would start a thread on the kindness of other people which is still in abundance,I went to Wicke's this morning to get some bags of topsoil had to carry them about 100 yards from the car to my house,I placed all 8 bags on a wall adjacent to my car, then carried 2 of them to the house,as I came out of the house I looked down to wards the car and lo and behold there were 3 teenagers carrying 2 bags each and they said there you go Woo ,where do you want these, and have you got to get anymore,I said yes another 8 bags tomorrow morning, they said right tell us what time and we will meet you here and carry them along for you as we remember you helping our dads when they needed it,what a lovely kind gesture that

@Loki I was just posting about a pleasant happening... I didn't expect to have an interrogation or be subjected to comments that make this unexpected compliment sound seamy. I would never betray my husband or think about cheating on him. It was anonymous. I've received flowers, gifts etc over the years and I have no idea why. So I won't try to explain :)

Maybe it's karma because Ive always tried to be kind in ameaningful way.. And...

I just wanted to post something nice. :)

Perhaps you could share something nice that happened to you?

Just remembered that someone actually waved a wave of thanks for me letting them cut in to my lane. There was construction happening on one of our major ateries today and I waved a person in from the reduced lane. They waved to me via their rear view mirror.

                      How nice is that :)

I had to spend Christmas alone a few years ago as I was unwell. On Xmas Eve on returning from work, I decided to get a few veggies in to have a makeshift xmas dinner. The only shop that was open had everything reduced to 5p (what a bargain!) - veg, xmas pudding, custard, the whole lot, as the shop would be closed for at least a few days over the festive period.

When paying for the items, i expressed a lot of surprise and delight that everything was so cheap and the cashier said "ooh you've left it a bit late to do your shopping haven't you?" I explained the situation and she came around from the till, gave me a hug, some free flowers, and wished me a happy christmas. I thought that was very kind and cried whilst walking home!

Just had to help a foreign lorry driver who took a wrong turn and end up in a narrow lane, he couldn't speak any Engish but was good on his phone with the address he had to get to, got him turned around which was not good as narrow lane and i drove in front of him so he could fallow me to where he was going, all good now, but i'm not sure on the bottle he gave me :Wino:

He had fallowed the right and left turns on his phone but the person that sent the text mist out one right turn and he ended up near me :thud:

Thank you for helping a fellow lorry driver out of his depth. You are my star of the day :dbgrtmb:
