The latest "must have" in Chimneas.

    Youngest son and his family are away most week-ends camping in the 1967 VW Campervan he restored.

    Yesterday he showed me "the latest thing in Chimneas"
    They take one of these away with them, for cool evenings.

    I found a picture of something similar on the net.

    An old washing machine drum!

    His sits on it's flywheel so it is clear of the ground.

    It's light, durable. chucks out an enormous amount of heat and it'll burn practically anything, as the air can get through the holes in the side.

    Thanks for that, it was a bit of a wreck when he got it.

    But it had spent all of its life in Utah, so there was virtually no rust.
    It's had practically a "new everything" but he has brought it back to exactly how it was in '67..c'ept for the seats which are original, but now cream leather with memory foam cushions..and the Pioneer stereo...and the telly... You know what I mean...

    It's been "everywhere" in this country and to France last year.
