1st - Naylors Ark - Sedum flower - I like the detail in the petals and the way the light comes off.

1st..........Marley Farley.................Me And My Shadow............The shadow and the aspect in which it's taken makes this picture for me.

2nd.........Naylors Ark....................Sedum Flower.............The detail on the flower is wonderful.

3rd..........Robajobs.......................Orange Lily................I like the way the colour and form of the flower is caught on the dark background.

Oh this is so hard. My first place choice I found easy but choosing 2nd and 3rd wasn't at all easy as there are a number of really good photos. But for what it's worth here goes -

1 - Mowgley - Salpiglossia. Wow! A real smack in the eyes, stunning colour and very well balanced with just a hint of colours in the background.

2 - Marley - Sherbert Dip. An unusal and creative composition. Love that rich dark colour.

3 - Bilbo675 - Dahlia Cream Delight. Nice crisp detail and delicate coloration.

1st Dave W... Olympic Couldron... Such an apt title for this summer, but what a cracking shot too..

2nd Naylors Ark... Sedum... A superbly crisp & clear showing it's really beauty..

3rd Sweet-Pea66... Coconut Bonnet it looks like a sweetie & I expect the butterflies like it too, another beautiful shot..

Many thanks everyone. Congratulations to the winners for some crackin' piccies. I'm inspired enough to get to grips with my LUMIX FZ45 and the new macro Lens that's due any day. Hopefully will be taking part in 2013,
    Jenny
