        Rare Full Cold Moon will brighten the sky on Christmas day: Lunar event is the first in 38 years and it won't happen again until 2034
        • It is called Full Cold Moon because it occurs during the beginning of winter
        • Rare celestial event will peak at 06.11 EST (23.11 GMT Christmas Eve)
        • The last time a full moon dawned in the skies on Christmas was in 1977
        • Nasa's Goddard Centre said the event won't happen again until 2034

          I went outside last night about 9pm, couldn't see the moon but the cloud were lit up in places, was very nice to stand and gaze but on another thought it could have been Santa flying through the sky :)
