This is a work in progress that I started this afternoon, which will ultimately end up being a full size figure. I need to change the shape of the ears, and work on the burning etc, but the basics are there and this afternoon was just a play.

The long and short of this one is that we live next to a very very nasty witch of a woman who shouts abuse as soon as you go into the garden. I have recently become the last of six neighbours to fall out with her, and now in her honour I have decided to make a sculpture of her which she will have to look at every time that she goes out into her garden.

In reality I'm just going to leave it out for a day or so and then move it to a hidden corner of the garden where no one will see it unless they are being nosey. I just fancy a bit of sport first.:heehee:

I think that's a BRILLIANT idea. It looks REALLY creepy and putting it where she's forced to look at it if she looks YOUR way is inspired!!

              That's extremely cool.

Now would would be even cooler, is if you put it up silently in the middle of the night, so that from the neighbour's perspective it just sort of appeared. Then make a few more, and each night add to their numbers until you have a whole wooden army guarding your boundary.

That is far too creepy and fabulous to hide away. It deserves to have pride of place in the garden, towards her side of the fence as she looks into your garden. In fact right up next to the fence. I agree with clueless - an army of then guarding your side of the fence would be an excellent idea. I would hollow out the eyes and put red lights in them though :snork:

You have really made my day. I had a blazing row at 7.15 this morning with some builders who are a month behind on a job that I started at today and the day just went down hill from there.
You have completely lifted my spirits.

Edit.. What I should do is to drill a hole from the top of the head into the mouth, and make it into an extreme bird feeder!:runforhills:
