    The field may be very compacted and the ground and round your pill box isn't and tis free draining, is that field the one there use for the show if tis then it's had a lot of traffic

                Edit: To have made that bowl using a pole lathe is, in my opinion, a major achievement as I can fully understand the amount of work involved. Making the one in oak I posted was time consuming enough with a modern lathe. Turning one on your pole lathe...well, I take my hat off to you Zigs!
