The catalogue pictures of this rose are just amazing, but has anyone actually seen one which grows like the pictures? All the ones that I have seen look either like Double Delight or the climber Handel. I would LOVE to grow one like the pictures of it.:luv:

Even this one of Blueroses kind of resembles Double Delight as the rose is deep pink rather than red. I was thinking of one like this!!!

Hello Gemini....... this picture you have shown is the one that was in the catologue when I bought mine. True it is not as dark, but still beautiful and my favourite rose.

Good evening Gemini,If I remember rightly this Rose,s Summer colour is different to its Autumn Colour in varying degrees:)

You see every rose colour you see in a photo or online does not very often show you the correct colour.I can only respectfully suggest that you view your Rose before you purchase if that is at all possible,if not try speaking to the supplier and put the Colour question to them.Hope this helps:)

There are Numerous reasons for this.
Lets deal with the Photography first.
    1. The time of day/ and the amount of light when the image was taken.
The camera/ used all have slightly different colour casts.

Then there is the Soil(Nutrients) and Location aspect which are probably all different, and the age of the Rose.

And What is wrong in looking like my Rose:hehe::rotfl:

Oh absolutely nothing!!! Double delight is one of my favourites and I grow it in my garden, lovely perfume too. I just wish that Osiria was a bit more Red in colour, although I must agree that it is beautiful anyway.
