    Thanks for the links Gogs:thumb: We have wanted to see one for years when we have been up in the highlands but knew them to be very shy and having a dog as well didn't help.:rolleyes:

    I was Googling last night after seeing the one on Springwatch but never realised just how many hybrids there are roughly 3,000:eek:

    Though looking at the photo's of your Bobby there looks to be a lot of markings the same;):D and the size

    It is sad when any animal becomes extinct, but obviously I am more saddened when it is in the feline family.

    We have a problem here with the Iberian Lynx. There are thought to be only 150 remaining in Spain and Algarve. I have recently read that it is planned for a captive breeding center to be built in Silves (where I shop) and I do hope it will be a success ... I think they have one in Andalusia already.

    Totally agree with you too Lol ,all very sad when animals become extinct. :(
