The sea's a bit choppy in Whitby today

We popped along to Whitby earlier just to pass some time. The harbour is usually very busy with a constant stream of boats of all shapes and sizes going in and out. Not today. It seems every skipper had the good sense stay put today. I've never seen whitby harbour with such an absence of activity. Waves were actually coming right over the harbour wall.
