I thought it was best to post a new thread for the trip back from South Stack, Holyhead, Anglesey to show you the Harbour in Holyhead, some canoeists in an estuary, and the scenery in the Welsh Mountains. My excuse for the quality of the pics is the bad, wet, grey weather:heehee:

The Canoeists at Longbridge estuary. They must have just finished their stint in the water and the rear couple to the right were trying to run/race through the shallow water pulling their canoe.

Great photos. I like the mist coming down from the mountains. Atmospheric and spooky! :blue thumb:

It was certainly raining that day. I also discovered that auto focusing on cameras don't like fog or mist as it confuses it and makes it "hunt" for the correct focus:snork: I had to switch over to Manual control to get better pictures and then switch over to a old wide angle lens that I like.

A lovely series of photos and very nicely framed too. Liked the mountain shots best, possibly because it reminds me of what it's been like on most of our trips up north this year!

Thanks Dave, that's much appreciated. Hopefully the next trip will be done without trying to shelter from the wind and rain, and not squinting because of the rain dripping down into my eyes!! I'd like to take shots at a more leisurely pace and see what happens!!
