    A true classic capney. As you say, even though you've watched it a hundred times it still makes you laugh.

    Did you see the tv ad for tea-bags, with 'can't remember his name' & a puppet, that had their 'striptease music' breakfast routine? Was very good & just shows that they are timeless.

    Yeah, that's the one, thank you both. How funny are they? I think it's because it's not meant to be funny that it is so. Does that make sense? Sure you know what I mean:) You can just picture it. And remember when they shared a bedroom? No hint of homasexuality or sex at all - just good fun. Those were the days eh?lol.

    we shall never see the likes agian, thats for sure.
    I started to watch a tv comic show the other night. Gave up after a few minutes.
    I suppose its an age thing....

    I used to really look forward to Last of the Summer wine but thats gone done the pan with the character Russ Abbot is now playing. Truth is there is now no good comedy on TV for the like of you and me.
    I sometimes listen to R7 on DAB radio when they transmit the old, old and older radio shows and plays... Magic

    mitchell and webb?...if so how can anyone have them in a thread about the 2 ronnies.

    M&W are as funny as sitting on infected thumb tacks....sorry just my opinion :)
