    Some scientists have found that two genes apparently play a part in making someone become a repeat violent offender.

    I'm sure that's true, but I wonder how long it will be before policy makers, who generally are not scientists, see an opportunity to save a few bob on policing, or where there's doubt in a court hearing, to sort of say 'well, he is genetically inclined'.
