They are all at it today!

    Well I went outside for 5 mins to take some pics of the plants and the little ********* all seem to be loving the wet weather :mad: ...

    This was only our second biggest strawberry

    Because this was our biggest strawberry

    And the garden is full of these

    On the plus side it doesn't seem to have deterred the bees

    they don't even let it ripe properly, greedy little snails...

    I have used bark mulch round a hosta and it hasn't been nibbled yet. The radishes were getting munched so have been using crushed eggshell round the plants. Still a few nibbles but not as bad.

    If you have oranges or grapefruit put the halves when you have eaten them facing down near the strawberries and check them every morning. provide them with cover close to the target crop so you can perhaps reduce the numbers.
