Well it certainly has, if it has stopped that is:
    1. last weekend i had a leak under my bath £51.00 to get it fixed and had no water for one day and night. Luckily i caught it in time, so not much water damage.
    2. yesterday, jumped into my car to go to work and saw a crack in my windscreen £75.00 to get that fixed (and not sure i'm happy with it either)
    3. today i have just found a crack in my woodburning stove glass - which is 3 years old and toughened glass, i haven't used it since March - just can't understand this one.:rolleyespink:
I soooo hope that is the big 3 for this year! :gaagh: When it happens it is quite scary! I'm starting to feel rather spooked.

Nothing happens for years and then all of a sudden, it all happens at once. Here's me trying to live frugally and save some money, i wonder if i hadn't been trying to save whether any of these things would've happened at all. Oh Happy Days! Anybody got any similar stories?

Hi Pixie, you might like to take a look at the thread I put on-on the 26th May, a similar subject to yours.

Believe me, just as you think you're going on quite happily, these things come along (in threes) and take the wind out of your sails!:)

Four weeks ago the kettle started to leak.
Two weeks ago the washing machine died.
Today the fridge expired. (just after we'd done a major restock of food yesterday!)

    Dishwasher or freezer next??

lol! I must've missed that at the time, I feel better already, at least it is not just me going completely mad or thinking some mad weird thing is going on. I might have to think about the 3 pins idea!

Did the 3rd bit of back luck eventually come along or were you lucky enough to miss it this time round?

    :)
