When our Dyson gave up we got a Samsung cleaner , just as good as Dyson at a third of the price. Vax are a very good make , just check the Argos prices as well.
Have a look at the Dyson prices !

 

Already got 2 Henrys hoovers I would like an upright as well, seen this one now.

I have bought a small unexpensive vacuum cleaner in homebase. It is bagless, not upright, very colourful and fun to use and very easy to clean. Perfect for my needs if it wasnt that it is very noisy, but then in that price range they usually are.

 

I bought this one!! Can't wait for it to come (how sad is that!!)

Sounds good! I had a big dyson but it was so heavy.Struggled getting it up the stairs. Now have the smaller dyson with the swivel ball for upstairs and a Henry for downstairs.Love my Henry because it has a large bag and I have to use it every day because of the parrots..scruffy devils

 

I bought a vax just before Christmas, for it's extra long cord and being so much lighter than the dyson. It's great! Sucks the carpet right off the floor! And full of dust where the dyson had already been.

 

It arrived yesterday morning!! It is nothing short of AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually like hoovering with this. OMG,it found so much dust though!!!

...they are very good "suckers" - just ensure they are emptied regular (we empty ours every week) and filters cleaned per manufacturers book and they will give you years of service - much longer than the bag ones where the dust gets every where but the bag

 

The memsahib is lusting after "Little Henry" ! ! !
