Hi Alice i remember ,it must have been about 15 years ago i had the Alan Titchmarsh bug.i had a large green with a good size border all around it and an embankment climbing up to a Fifestone wall, and i thought ,i will purchase plants with different heights, tall ones to the back and work down to the smallest meeting the lawn:D all on paper it was going to be GREAT(Alan Titchmarsh cry your eyes out). i do not remember what i spent on plants ,it was not the expense it was the time and effort>>>>> then disaster. that year after i had completed my garden we had one of the worst may/june weather.it was cold we had snow april/may and june was cold , the plan was a
disaster. half the plants did not grow/ the so called taller ones were small the smaller ones just were not there:flag:did not put me off "i am still trying " :D music .
