Don't really have much time for hobbies apart from gardening and I can't draw or paint I leave that to Andrew, however, this is what I do when I am feeling

Thank you, I have several dragons dotted around the house. The one above is cross stitched. There was lots of bad langusge when I had to keep unpicking it!

    Beautiful Celia!
My Mum collects Dragons and would love that. She has a 3ft green one called Marmaduke that lives in her garden (resin, not real unfortunately!). You must be really patient to be able to stitch something that contains that amount of work.

That is gorgeous ! My Mom does cross stitch and would love to tackle that as she also loves dragons. Once I get my new camera I will take some pictures of her work.

Oh, that is really beautiful! I love dragons too. It is amazing how many people do, isn't it? I used to do quite a bit of embroidery and petit pointe, tried cross-stitch once but my patience only lasted long enough to finish the tablecloth and that was that. How long did it take you to do, or did you do it in spurts and starts?
Our neighbours have a garden dragon, in three pieces like he is coming up through the lawn. Unfortunately he lost a lot of his paint the last winter and never got repainted.
I used to have a car that I called Marmaduke.

I tend to cross stitch when I'm in the mood. I started a Millenium Sample in 1999 and I'm still doing it! I have done other things in the meantime and I'll get back it eventually [IMG]

I enjoy growing my and showing my fuchsias but of course that does not take place in the winter.

I cross stitched a fuchsia its now framed and hung in my kitchen.

I did cross stitch the map of the world for the millenium got map out of a diary and then got a pattern made out of it.it took a year sore on the eyes then it was framed and hung on the wall at the stroke of midnight.

    It was some prodject.

Floral art making arrangements for friends and family or just to cheer someone up.

Having been a carer for 11 yrs and no longer got a lot of time on my hands.Celia I can't see your photo only a small part is showing and I am on broadband.
Did go to an evening class to get the basics and took it from there.Dont like to see dead flowers or flowers going past.

Used to cross stitch and now yes I have to be in the mood.

    Reading walking and our garden
And of course we go to learn Ballroom Dancing so enjoy that.
