    Made for the local school, I do a cake every year for the Christmas raffle.

    I remember some of your previous cake pice D, you've done it again, won't show it to In- House Advisor or she will say something very impolite. :D

    that is such a nice looking cake !


    PS I find that the icing sugar which come in small boxes tastes a bit like paper. Are they all like that?

    Thanks for all your kind comments glad you like it. I have made three cakes this year one for the school, one for the hospital and one for ourselves. I do enjoy making them, I used Jane Asher's recipe for her last minute christmas cake this year.

    I use Tate and Lyle icing sugar for royal icing and can't say that it tastes like paper but then I can't say that I've tasted paper. [​IMG]
    My Hubby doesn't like marzipan or icing at all so he takes it off and gives it to my youngest. :rolleyes:

    Oh how wonderful Dalbuie you really do have a magic way with cakes, I was going to have a go at sugarcraft this winter but I'll have to wait a while yet.
