    Hi All,

I hate the snow and hate going out in it. So this morning I have cleaned the house from top to bottom, made some fat cakes for the birds with my son and he has got bored of playing games and is now watching Toy story for the gazillianth time. So to relieve the boredom I started on the net. I found JParkers selling 15 Crocosmia Sunglow bulbs for £1.99 and you get a free Dwarf Red Japanese Azelea. Delivered for under £6 do that cheered me up a bit.

What's everyone else doing to get through the weather?

    Rusty

Pottering around the house, getting all the jobs I've promised to do, done.
Having a Union Break right now with tea and cake and a bit of the old Internet...

Balanced the radiators, ran round the house with a bit of string trailing behind me.

When it's like this just sit on the iPad and look through recipes and plant websites.

30 yrs ago, I liked the snow,
I now see it as a totally unnecessary inconvenience that I could well do without.
It might look nice for a day or so, but it just causes too many problem which outweigh its small advantages.
Getting to work tomorrow is going to be a problem.
And I cant think of a thing to do that doesn't involve going outside, so.........

              I love the snow.

Sorry to say, it has a character fault. I've noticed it tends somewhat to outstay its welcome.

Yes my journey from work usually takes 25 minutes coming home Friday took just shy of 2 hours which would mean I'm leaving for work at 4:30 am.

Yesterday, wore probably 3 times as much clothes as usual and took the lad out to Siberia (ok, not Siberia) sledging all day.

Today, been out to the railway museum, got back in, had a bite to eat, then had a good hour's stroll along the sea front with my face being pelted with hail. I wish I'd waited a couple of months before taking off my beard and tash.

I make sure that I go out for at least an hour every morning and that makes me really appreciate my warm and comfortable home when I return and to count my blessings for my situation compared to others on this planet:old: ;)
