I sorry folks ,but I don't see the point!...I have a job to see the picture after opening them too. Am I missing something here
Oh Pal, I am so pleased you have mentioned this as I am so fed up lookiing at tiny pics especially if someone expects us to identify something. I can't even see some of them with a magnifying glass ... how sad is that I ask .... s00k I certainly will not be joining in the 'tiny pic' crowd ... but then again perhaps my views or comments or identifications are of no interest to them. Some technology I can live without ...
Some people post the wrong photobucket code is all. I have enlarged this one:hehe::p:wink::gnthb::D
:thmb: I had the same problem with the Thumbnails in the photo comps Pal & so asked people to follow these instruction to post their pics full size..! HERE It is so simple to do & people would get a much better response to their post if they used the full size photo....!!!!
Tiny Pics can do any size you want .. let me demonstrate ... Avatar (100x75) Thumbnail (160x120 ) Website/Email (320x240 ) Message Board (640x480 ) preferred size for GC 15" screen (800x600 ) 17" screen (1024x768)
Did you try clicking on the Thumbnail Alice? It should come up full size using a fancy "lightbox" what's more, if you upload several pictures, then once you have clicked on one of them there are Back/Forward buttons so you can scroll through the images. I think its quite a good compromise in that folk don't download the images unless they want to see them. Only restriction is that the image you upload will be reduced to a maximum of 800px wide and 600 px high (which is bigger than the gallery images here which are max 600px in either direction). If you want to show an even bigger picture you will have to host on Photobucket or similar and link to it from here) I do think it could be improved by adding to the "Attached thumbnails" title something like "Click to see big'uns"
Well done, Babe ... I thought about that but didn't want to step on any toes .... :hehe: ... but Admin to Admin is a-okay :gnthb:
I use Photobucket and somehow the settings are set to be the right size for here. No idea why, but very glad. I tried using the attachment tool here but they came out as thumbnails.
Babe ... :p xx Like you Aaron, I use Photobucket and have no problems although I admit I size my photos on my computer through iPhoto Plus4. Me being me and not that clever with technology, I find it quite mind-boggling at times with the problems people seem to have ... which I actually don't ... :yho:
