Thyme

    I'm a new gardener (and not a very good one)is it possible to create a thyme based lawn and how do you do it!! Any help is greatly appreciated

    Hi John,

    It is certainly possible - and some people prefer it, as they spend all their time trying to create a pristine looking grass lawn, when a growth of something like thyme can usually just get on with it! ;)

    This article is US-based, but some good tips (particularly the importance of preparing your area before you plant)

    Creeping thyme is very good, and easy to grow fron seed.
