TIFFs to JPEG

Does anyone know how to change TIFFs into JPEGs
as when I use different modes on my camera some are TIFFs and Photobucket will not upload them.

I suspect this is where some image handling programs may fall short. I have Photoshop Elements 3 (bundled with my photo scanner) and it converts both ways very easily. Use the "File" drop-down menu and click on "Save as...", You select the file type to save in at the bottom of the dialog box - another drop-down menu.

Thanks Tree Frog, I don't have Photoshop but I have Paintshop pro, I'll have a look at that, or there maybe a prog I can download.

 

When I scan pics they come out as Tiffs, to change them to Jpeg, I get them up with the windows picture and fax viewer, click the copy symbol.
You then get a choice, "save as", change it to Jpeg, and click save.

In Paintshop you can change them to a number of different ones.
