Hi all, last year my tiger lily flowered and bulb like seeds grew on the stems. I removed the bulbs and planted them. This year they have grown and are now about 12" high. Some have the same seed bulbs growing on them. Some havn't grown tall and just stayed small.

Any of you guys had experiencing propagating these tiger lilies and have any growing on tips?

Which Lily do you have (google Tiger Lily and you'll come up with a multitude of species).

Anyway, on the whole these aerial bulbs will take a minimum of three years to reach flowering size so (not knowing the species) this is probably perfectly normal.

Many thanks. I'm not sure which tiger lily it is but here's a pic.
