To Pinch or Not ?

    Pinching the growing tip from a plant , is a method to increase bushiness . Now I had just pricked out some Diascia earlier last week , they were long and lanky so I pinched them out. The growth stimulated in the axils was incredible over a 36 hour period. You can see in the photo below the new growth coming from the stem to leaf corners :blue thumb: DSCN1664.JPG

      Hi Harry,
      And don't forget on most plants if you pinch carefully, the growing tips you pinch out will give you free cuttings as well :)
