Can anyone advise as to whether it's worth sowing any of these? All dated 2022. Found them in my shed, think a neighbour gave them to me and I forgot all about them :sad:TIA 20250407_164823.jpg

I'd agree with the above. If they have been kept cool and all unopened, I'd be surprised if you didn't have some success with most of those. Good luck :)

Maybe all but the carrots should germinate, assuming it never got too hot or damp in the shed.

I had a similar dilemma so I tried pre sprouting some, normally called chitting, on a moist piece of kitchen towel inside a bag. It will at the minimum tell you if any of the seeds will germinate without wasting any soil. I think carrots is probably the least likely to work as mentioned above, they don't seem to stay viable for very long.

I was given some seeds dated from 2019 and they have germinated fine. I think it all really depends on the seed and how they are stored.

We have sown seeds that were "out of date" many times. Germination hasn't always been 100% but then we find that in date ones often don't as well. As others have said have a go and see what you end up with.

Fortunately they were in a tiny set of wooden desk drawers so very hard for the little blighters to access :)...I've decided to pass them on to a pal as I don't really like any of them plus my past success with seed sowing isn't that good:noidea: thank you anyway :love30:
