    Hi

Today I shifted a ton of top soil into my raised beds and large containers.

My back aches, I'm knackered but it feels good having done a good, productive days work on the 'plot.'

Well done Sargent :dbgrtmb: It'll be worth the effort.

You did well to do that in todays freezing temperatures, took me 3 goes to dig the artichokes out. Kept having to go in and warm up.

    Well done Lordspudz.
I went out to the garden today wrapped in my best winter gardening gear with the intention of doing a bit of tidying up and a bit of planning.
After 5 minutes I was miserably cold and retreated indoors.
Maybe I'm just a wimp - but I never used to be. I always did winter gardening.
Maybe it was just miserably cold and damp.
    Well done to you.

Well done lordspuz, hard work does you good. My back aches tonight too having been outside all day laying bricks, that flipping wind was freezing. And my face is still frozen in a fixed grimace, who needs Botox. Good thing is the house feels like a sauna.
