    The curved glass is Crown Glass, quite rare.

      Are you on some sort of church pilgrimage Zigs? Not knocking it, but just curious as to how come you're doing the daily church thing.

      Started off looking for wild daffodils, then thought i'd take pics of the churches while I was at it.

      Something to do on a winters day :spinning: Never know if you'm gonna find something scarry too :yikes:

        Assume that is a big old yew tree in pic 7?
        The curved glass looks like cut up versions of the old bulls eye type glass, presumably blown and then cut to fit.

          The Yew probably pre dates the church, christians tried to take over pagan sites.

          Yep, but the bull's eye was from the bit in the middle, not blown but spun out like a pizza in front of the furnace.

          The bull's eye was the only bit that wasn't taxed.
