Another one that I doubt is today's. There's a grave dated 1716, and it's currently only 1239 today so I reckon it refers to another day.

That'll be why you don't see them.

It's just people, just slightly out of phase.

Consider this. You see a ghost of someone that lived say 100 years ago. 100 years ago, someone else saw a ghost, which was (will be) you. There's 100 years between you, but in the quantum world there is no such thing as time and space, so you and the person 100 years ago, on the quantum level, can exist in the same spacetime. While we can't see into the quantum world, we know that photons can and do, and photons are the basic units of light. Ergo, there is the potential theoretically for an object, or person, to cast reflections across time and space, so you might have seen a ghost of a person that 100 years earlier saw a ghost which was a reflection of you from their future.

The one I saw (and me mum saw) was always just before me dad came home for lunch. Mum would tell me to go open the door as she'd seen me Dad walk past the window.

I'd go outside but there was no one there

Put it down to Mum seeing things till many years later I was on my own in the kitchen when I saw someone walk past the window. Went to see who it was but there was no one there again.

It was only then I realised what ever i'd seen was over 8 foot tall :hate-shocked:

The house had been built on an old brick field, so the level of the land 100 odd years before would have been 4 foot higher...
