Today's flying visitors to the garden

    Today I thought I'd try setting up the camera on a tripod and focussed on the hollow log we use as one of our feeding stations. The log is beside a hedge which gives the birds good cover to pop in and out of. I'd hoped to catch a wren but was out of luck but I did catch a Dunnock, Chaffinch and Robin.

    Great pictures.

    We have lots of birds in the garden and avidly feed them. We have been pleased to see new visitors recently as we have started to get visits from yellowhammers which has been a treat.

    Robins are my favourite birds too.

    I love to watch the birds in my garden too - but I don't have the equipment to catch the shots

    Great pics, Dave. I love the way that chaffinch is doing a bit of a filmstar 'this-is-my-best-angle' pose.
