I have a family of sparrows to my feeders, fun to watch them beg mother for food and then feed themselves when she is away

I hope the frog is resident! There isn't a pond nearby as far as I know. We are a long way from the nearest natural water. Need to take care as I'm clearing the entire garden and don't want to spoil his environment! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

It's a beauty, shiney. I had one visit me last year and heaven only knows how one got to me in the middle of the orchards!

They are so soft to touch, I just love them!

My nickname was Frog (Froglet) for thirty years, still is occasionally, and I had it as the registration on my car in the States. T'other half's nickname is Toad (Toadie), funnily enough! :D :D

We had one last year and the cats were trying to play with it.It is the first time I have heard a frog squeel  I nearly trod on a toad last year that I think we must have transported from our last house in a flower pot or plant pot

Our backyard used to be used like a frog highway at the start of spring as they used to spawn in a pond nearby. That was until developers bought up the land and built houses on it  .Rarely see a live one anymore unless we go looking for them :(
