First of all thanks for the answers to previous questions and today bought a little growbag greenhouse and planted some tomatoes. I have read a few threads on here about feeding but are those bottles of feed not just full of chemicals, I know that the tomatoes I buy will be full of them but would like my own to be chemical free. I have a bag of 6x fertiliser if anyone is familar with that, it is steralised farm manure. It says on the bag one of it's use's is to soak in water to create a liquid feed for green house plants so do you reckon it would be as good as tomato feed.

I use an organic feed (Westlands Nutri Plant Feed) on all my vegetable plants barring the tomatoes.... there be no chemicals in there.... You can find quite a lot of different natural feeds along those lines. That might give good results.
I'm not sure whether your idea is a good bet... I suspect it is a very natural and kind way to feed them, but might not give you the very best tomatoes.
It's too soon to be feeding tomato plants yet in any case, wait until the first fruits have set. My three plants are about 3 feet high with flowers forming, but I'm still some way off starting to feed them. To be honest I think I'll just go with Tomatorite, you generally want something with a high seaweed content I think. It's not exactly "chemicals" like the producers might use anyway, it's essential nitrates that the fruits need.

You could feed them witha feed you make from steeping Comfrey in water, but you'd need to find some Comfrey!

Otherwise I go along with choosing an Organic feed, or as-organic-as-possible.

I can't see any problem with using your 6X manure scotty, give it a go :thumb:
