    Hi

I've noticed the leaves of my tomatoes beginning to brown and curl at the edges. They are potted in tomato grow bag fertiliser and I have watered them quite a lot (maybe this could be the cause?).

Please could you help me identify what the problem is? I'm struggling to work it out!

    Thank you :) IMG_20150426_114154~2.jpg IMG_20150426_114209~2.jpg IMG_20150426_114218~2.jpg IMG_20150426_114228~2.jpg IMG_20150426_114248~2.jpg

I'm pretty sure that they are not liking overnight temperatures. There's a frost forecast for tomorrow morning and I fear that you might lose them unless you take steps to give them some protection. Best thing imo would be to bring them indoors (shed/garage?) overnight until better overnight temperatures are forecast.

Edit : re watering. I wouldn't be routinely watering in your situation, better I think to water as and when necessary, when it starts to look dry.

I think there are also to many plants in the pot. I would only put one tomato plant in a pot that size. When they are fully grown they will be pot bound and fighting for nutrients.

            Hi everyone

Thanks for your replies. I really appreciate your help.

            - I tried to reduce the amount of watering I was giving them in case it was overwatering. Doesn't seem to be that, they have continued to decline regardless of water changes.

            - They weren't getting too chilly, I had a breathable insulating plant cover over them on cold nights.

Here's some pic updates now. As you can see they look very sickly. I've also included a picture of the tomato grow bag soil that I have potted them in. Do you think it could be that the nutrients in that grow bag soil are wrong for these plants and they are suffering because of that?

I'm really struggling to figure out what is wrong here.

If you have any more ideas I'd love to hear them.

            Thank you!

We are still getting chilly nights here, way too cold for my tomatoes to go outside. Where are you Ben it would help to put your location in your profile.

Has that container got drainage holes?

I'm sorry Ben, that container is far to small for all those tomato plants and probably why they are all suffering. I would only put one in there. Each plant needs something about the size of a bucket. Here are mine below......
