I have just potted up small plants of Totem and baby Plum. Should I nip out the centre to bush them out or leave well alone?

True lolliepop but these are little bush sort of patio ones and I wondered if different rules applied. I don't think you remove side shoots on these

Never grown them, but with bush varieties you leave well alone, they bush out on their own after forming the first truss.

I'm probably wrong though, as I'm not well up on these new fangled ones.:D

I'm in the let-them-be camp too, but I've never grown them.

if you've only just potted them up I think its a bit early to be nipping anything out though ...
