Please can someone assist me with what is wrong with my Tomato plants? I only started growing fruit & vegetables this year. Planted these Sungold variety in late March and now all of the plants lower leaves are covered with this mottled spotting.
As this is my first attempt, I am feeling quite disappointed & would appreciate any advice on where I have gone wrong?

I've had similar on my toms ferretdiver, as long as its only the lower leaves and the plant continues to grow well, I tend not to both too much about it.
I think its insect damage but not sure what, although thrips come to mind.
Anyway, I dont think you have "gone wrong" anywhere.
I'm sure our veggie growers will know what it is. [IMG]

ferretdiven it wont do them any harm have you got trusses on them if so you can tack thees branch of. when you feed them don't let the watter fall on the leaves as this can do the same thing but when you are not feeding you can watter the leaves

H K is probably right it could be scorch caused by the sun falling on the water on the leaves, just be careful when you water them.
