I wouldn't worry about it, I never seem to get perfect leaves, especially at this time of year with low light levels. Once the weather improves they should grow out of it.

I'm wondering if it's sun scorch? @Tracy_x do you water them when the sun is shining? If there is water on the leaves the sun will burn them.

      Hi Tracy,

Have you possibly got any water onto the leaves when you've watered them, and then the suns dried the leaves in patches.
You have to remember that if they're in the sun and the water droplets sit on the leaves then the droplets act as magnifying glasses and scorch the them.

I don't think they're diseased at all, it just looks like dried patches to me.

This looks like the work of tiny insects that live on the undersides of leaves.

I get this problem with basil, mint and sage.

If the blotchiness becomes too unsightly as to put you off eating it then I would cut them back and wait for the regrowth.

Otherwise, I'd spray them about once a week with garlic powder dissolved in water with a few drops of Fairy liquid added.
