Tomatoes

    Can anyone tell me what causes mould on the top of tomatoes and how to eradicate it, i have upteen green ones drop off the trusses and they seem to covered in mould on the top near the spikey thing.

    Can you post a picture?

    Are there black patches on the leaves (tends to start towards the outside of the leaf and spread to the middle)? (That would indicate Blight)

    Not got a pic yet but will try and get one,they seem to have a grey mould around the top of the tom near the spikey thing ,it seems to only happen to the green ones cant find nothing in my books to suggest what the problem is. cheers

    Might be whitefly dropping their "honey dew" which attracts moulds. I get that, I just wipe it off when the Toms are picked. Its of no consequence, except being a bit unsightly.

    If you share your plants gently and get a cloud of white flies :eek: that may be the problem.

    However, yours sounds more than just a little surface colouration?
