Tomatoes

Is there anything I should be doing to help my tomatoes ripen? My plant is totally laiden with tomatoes, but they are all green, some are HUGE!! Should I be doing anything or just sit and watch?!

 

For the time being, just sit and watch. Keep watering and feeding regularly, and they should ripen.

If they still haven't ripened in a few weeks when the sun is starting to weaken, put some banana skins around the plant to speed things up.

Also, you need to "stop" your tom plants - i.e. snip the fast-growing top of them off - to stop them producing more fruit and flowers, and to concentrate on ripening the ones that have already formed.

I had one ripen a few days ago, something ate it. Got another starting to go.

This bloke will tell you what to do, but he can't say tomato properly.
