    Great shot Woo.
I think I've said this before but the moon shines into my conservatory and looks just stunning but when I take a pic all I get is a little pin prick of light.
I envy your ability, equipment or both.
    Thank you for the pic.

Sadly no moon here tonight - too cloudy.
But thank you for driving me out there for a look - the garden smells heavenly.
Mixture of night scented stock and roses, I think.

    Smashing pic.

Do you find it strange that the hubble telescope can take a detailed pic of voyager 1, which is more than 100 au from earth, yet they haven't taken any pics of the lunar landing sites, ie the lunar rover & launch pad that were supposedly left there, oh, and the bloke with the camera who panned it upwards to watch the capsule lift off.

Wonder if that was Major Tom ?

    Hi Woo,

OMG, I remember watching this on telly,

[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2wWWUvROuI"]YouTube - David Bowie "Space Oddity" at Thames 1979[/nomedia]

I think its only a matter of time before the yanks have to admit they never actually got to the moon. It was just a stage show to pretend they'd beaten the Russians.

[nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Obd_jTO66-0"]YouTube - Lunar module blast off and leaves the Moon (Apollo 17)[/nomedia]

How did a remote camera know when to pan back & up at exactly the right time ?

I have looked at the conspiracy websites & none of them have picked up on this. Maybe we should ask NASA for an explanation. Oh, & why wern't the astronaughts killed by the van allen radiation belts when they were only protected by tin foil :hehe:
