Too cold to bring out the snow ploughs

    Can you believe it!

    I was in Perth last Monday and we got stuck in the city centre - 3 people had to push the car as it got stuck in the snow. I could not understand why the roads were so bad over the past week. I read in the Telegraph last night the reason why............ :dh:

    :dh: I bet their diesel froze....!!! We used to put a tiny drop of petrol in the tanks on the boats & it stopped it from freezing, but that was a while ago now..!!! :lollol:

    found out that the traffic wardens were ticketing the abandoned cars!

    LOL - easy quotas for them this month then eh? Figures.......I hope they all fight the ticket and win - The council can't provide safe roads that are gritted, cars get stuck, council profits on parking fines.......doesn't sound much different than down here in England!
