My hubby recently finished our raised pond on the decking....it doesn't have much in it at the moment (except the fish) it has some oxygen plants and then this one i couldn't resist when i was buying one of the fish....not sure what it is and there was no tag on it.....the bloke said to sit in on a plant pot under water level.....so i have.....but it seems to be dying......

    any advice please.....muchly apreciated :D

Thank you Miraflores....after much google translate i think i've found it....this is what it translates to....hopefully someone can say if it's right

      Pontederia Cordata

Plant with heart-shaped leaves that produces blue flowers.

Should be planted at a certain depth to avoid freezing in contact with the roots in winter.

      Depth: -15 to -30 cm

      Height: 60 cm

It looks definitely like it! Very pretty, not only the flowers but also the leaves.
