Too late to scarify?

    Ideally I would be doing it this weekend or next.

    I haven't used an electric scarifier on the lawn before, (I gave it a light raking earlier in the year) so I'm expecting to get a lot of moss out.

    The lawn doesn't get a huge amount of sun and I am concerned that with the cold wet weather we've had recently the lawn will not recover sufficiently and will be in poor condition until the spring.

    I reckon its a good time. If the result is that the lawn looks particular "bald" then yo could "overseed" it - if it is in shade anyway then overseeding with shade-tolerant varieties would help make them predominant in the mix
