    Found these flowers on my trachycarpus the other day. Didn't know they flowered at all. Also I think I should get fruit. Can't wait! [​IMG]

    Looks like a female GF, you need a male to pollenate it.
    They are wind pollenated, so if there is a male in the area you may get seed.

    Will it fruit? I don't think there are any more close by - male or female.I never expected it to flower at all. I'm just really pleased that it has.

    It might the wind can carry pollen a long way.
    But my waggie flowers every year, but no seed as yet, maybe one year.

    You guys should try and contact someone with a male and get them to post you some pollen we do it with Brugs.

    Good idea walnut, I did find one male flowering in a garden centre near me, Some of the pollen just happened to drop into my handkerchief as I blew my nose. [​IMG] [​IMG]
