Tradescantia....does anyone on this group grow these lovely plants?
We love growing them indoors and have the common one you find in most garden centres (Zebrina) but others we're finding are difficult to come by. Does anyone grow any of the more unusual ones as in the pics and would be happy to send me a few cuttings? I know they root very quickly in water.
Please message me if you can help.
We are based in North Hertfordshire, UK
    Thank you x

Thanks but those aren't the ones I'm after and they don't have the ones in the pictures I've posted above.

Oh ok @PEANUTPARADISE A good garden centre usually has a good selection of the indoor ones, I know my local one does in its houseplant section..

You are very lucky to have garden centres near you that sell house plants period. We've just moved and there are five large garden centres near us. I've phoned them all to ask if they sell Tradescantia. The first one i called said no and the others said they no longer sell house plants ....one even said it was because, and I quote "house plants are not in vogue at present" BUT, "they appear to be making a come back so we may well start selling them again at some point in the future".

Amazon is brilliant for plants, especially if you don't have good garden centres close by. General search

Regarding the sellers, Perfect Plants is pricey, but they have interesting varieties and the quality is first class. IR Plant and Garden Centre is more affordable and their plants are always very strong and healthy.
