My trailing begonias have been lovely this summer and continue to give pleasure.
On the planting instrtuctions that came with them it say that they are one season annual.
Has anyone tried to propagate them or do I just buy new ones next year?

    Hello Alana
If your trailing Begonias are the tuberous type you can save the tuber in November and replant indoors in March 2013 . You wait until the stems are all dieing back and then lift them mid Novemberish , dry them and store them . There are plenty sites explaining the best way to do this. I normally find 50% to 80% sprout the following year.
Now I don't know if all trailing Begonias are tuberous  I grow one of the most popular type B. Illumination which is . I suppose you don't know the type ?
There are other ways of propagating of course - leaf cuttings - seeds , far to much faff for me :snork:
