Transplanting coronet miniature apple tree

    I was given a miniature apple tree earlier this year. I planted it without too much thought and whilst it ok, I've found a better place for it.

    Is there a better time to move it to the new location - close to an east facing (but well protected from wind) fence? I can't use the west facing one unfortunately
