Transplanting Hydrangea Annabelle

    Is April an ok month to move Hydrangea Annabelle's? They are about 2-3 years in the ground

    Hi

    leaving it late to transplant , have they started into growth ? . If no , give them a hard prune and move with a large rootball keep well watered for the rest of the year

    Yes some leaf growth on them.

    Have you pruned them ? If not reduce all the growth by half.

    if you move with a large rootball they should be ok , just make sure you keep well watered this year to reduce the stress.

    Yes pruned them a few weeks back. I think I will leave it until Autumn, probably a better time! Thanks for advice.
